WBTV reported on the work Pacific Educational Group was doing in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school (CMS) district. PEG Founder Glenn Singleton said before CMS could begin tackling the achievement gap between black and white students, the system would first have to have a candid conversation about race. “We have actually created a protocol where we enable educators and other folks to have meaningful dialogue that does not end up in a combative situation, but rather in a healing situation and an enlightening piece,” Singleton said.
